Workflow No Longer Working to Run Waypoints / Area Mapping with RC2 and DJI Mini5 Pro

I know there is a current similar thread (Did DJI Disable Litchi With a Recent DJI Go4 Firmware “Upgrade”? - General Discussion - Litchi Forum). But this issue is different.

I can no longer export KMLs from the Mission Hub and drop them into my RC2 controller to run my Mini 5 Pro area mapping. Like the other thread touches on via a different workflow, there are simply no points available when I try to run my flight despite creating a KML with those points.
So my normal workflow I have always done is export a KML from Litchi then drop it in the waypoint folder and replace an existing KML in the controller, file/folder name and all. This has been a great workflow for me to “sneak” the KML into the RC2 controller. But now now waypoints show up when I try to fly that KML. What happened?

  1. you mentionned Mission Hub, that’s the old one - make sure you use Litchi Hub (the new one): https://hub.flylitchi.com/
  2. Follow this guide [GUIDE] How to use Litchi Hub with DJI Fly / SkyRover

The process using Litchi Hub Bridge is still working for me (Mini 5 Pro / RC2). I just transferred a number of flights this morning. The only requirements are:

  • RC2 is connected via USB to your computer.
  • RC2 is turned on.
  • Litchi Hub Bridge is running (in the background) on your computer.
  • You are using the new Litchi Mission Hub.

Yes I am using the new one.

I’m not familiar with the hub bridge.

I will download the hub and adjust my process.

Thanks!

First, just to clarify: you should not be using KML files for this workflow. DJI Fly expects KMZ files, not KML.

Please follow our guide to correctly export your flight using Litchi Hub and Litchi Hub Bridge (or manually, if you really prefer):
