@Adrian_Mihai_Stremta ,
Waypoint IS available. There are numerous posts in this thread from users that provided feedback (pictures, too) about their missions.
As mentioned i installed the app, i have the curent version of litchi pilot dji build 129 and when i click in the left on the litchi icon IT does not do nothing or IT says more flight plans coming soon.
Any suggestions on how to make waypoint mission to work in litchi pilot? I am using a mini 3 pro. Thanks!
Just load a waypoint mission that you’ve already created (e.g. on the Mission Hub) with the folder icon, and run it.
I have made grids on https://ancient.land/, imported in mission hub and executed on RC Pro without issues.
Mini 2 is similar so you can use that, the fov is just a degree of. You have a GSD of 10mm at 26meters
Thanks! I will try to import map project from ancient land.
Don’t forget to set the hight from ground level and check it in google earth.
I have old account but is not accepted for the beta. Apple user.
The Litchi Pilot Beta is Android only,as DJI, have not developed an SDK for iOS devices for the Mini3
I found this to be crucial to starting the beta on my Tablet with RC-N1 controller
I forgot to do it on my first run of 'Pilot…kick me!
I’m out of my depth but Apparently DJIFly is “called” by an “intent” (??)as soon as you start the RC-N1. I suppose that even "choosing Pilot from the dialogue that pops up does not actually kill it or stop it from interfering with calls made by Pilot? …anyways this is not an unusual sort of thing in Android (or Windows, etc)…
You can change this in the phone settings, if you go to apps, scroll down to dji fly, and click on it, click open by default, then click clear defaults
Next time you connect the controller you’ll be given the choice of which app you want to use, select the appropriate app, and then click just once
I have no “defaults”. I always choose…but even with no “defaults”, I STILL had to shut down DJIFLY as described.
Something real it’s going on there then, as unless you’ve opened it for some reason it shouldn’t be open
Does anyone knows when full version will be available on Google store?
Sure thing. I was more after if it looks like we are weeks or months before release.
Thank you
I should think it could be some time, as don’t forget at the moment the beta is only looking at the waypoints side of things and hasn’t even touched on things such as orbit or either of the follow modes
Thank you very much for the quick Flight Protection section addition. It has been working perfectly for me when doing missions up hills and mountains.
In addition, FYI Build 129 is rarely crashing with my RC-N1 and Samsung Galaxy 10e setup with my Mini 3 Pro. I haven’t noticed any area(s) where crashing is more frequent; it has occurred right after starting the app and mid-flight.
Finally, the only other thing I’d like to see ASAP, if this is even possible with virtual joystick mode, would be adding the option to CHOOSE the default lost connection action; RTH is the current default/only option. IF you can add: 1) RESUME from last waypoint reached/passed, 2) GO TO next waypoint, and 3) something regarding which is closer… I think you’d not only save me some fuss… but also make virtual joystick mode a lot more user friendly.
Thanks for the great work! I’m really looking forward to how this Litchi Pilot project/app progresses.
