Goal: to use Litchi mission planning with Mini 4 Pro
I have searched YouTube, Google and used ChatGPTd, seems there is a lot of conflicting information and workflows.
My regular phone is an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I do have an older Android Samsung S10 around the house. My DJI controller is an RC2.
Here is what I understand:
The new Litchi Hub is in beta and only for Android. Older Mission hub does have IOS version, thou support may be questionable
The RC2 Controller is not compatible with Litchi, thou I keep reading about people loading Litchi mission on the RC2, but with limited results
The path of least resistance would be to but a RC-N2. So I cold be used with Litchi and the Mini Pro
Seems the Mini Pro4 is not totally compatible with Litchi, al least not yet.
The DJI mission planning is not the best, having to do on the app
So is the only real option to use my old Android and go buy and RC-N2, or just wait, wait wait to see what software improvements are forthcoming
If there is another way, please let me know I feel like I am just spinning my wheels on this. Thanks

Incorrect, both the old Hub and the new Beta Hub are WEB-based application, you open and use them in a Web-browser.
Use the new Beta Hub to plan missions:
Then follow the instructions in this Topic:
Many consumer drone models aren’t supported by the DJI SDK, making them incompatible with Litchi Pilot.
To work around this limitation, we’ve added a new feature to the Litchi Hub: the ability to export KMZ files. This lets you plan waypoint flights for any DJI drone that supports waypoint mode in the DJI Fly app.
Supported drone models:
Air 3 & Air 3S
Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Classic & Mavic 3 Pro
Mavic 4 Pro
Mini 4 Pro (has SDK support so we recommend flying with Litchi Pilot instead)
Mini 5 Pro

The new Litchi Pilot app is compatible with the Mini 4 Pro:
The Litchi Pilot app is Android only.

Conclusion:
With the Mini 4 Pro you have 2 choices:
1: Use the new Hub , follow the instructions in the 2nd link to transfer the mission to the RC2
2: Use the new Hub, the new Litchi Pilot app on an android device and the RC-N2

Get the RC-N3 not the N2 and install Litchi Pilot on your android phone. Create the mission on the NEW Litchi hub. It works flawlessly for waypoint flights including laying out the grid in seconds. Saved me a LOT of time on a mapping job I do every year. IF you have to stop to change batteries it will pick up perfectly where it left off.

Took the advise and bought RC-N3. Using Mini Pro 4 and Samsung Galaxy S10. N3 paired to Mini 4 , installed DJI Fly. All is good so far. I can fly the drone with the N3, Loaded Litchi, and Litchi does not see the drone. Been through multiple possible fixes on chtgpt, Delete DJI Fly, and still nothing on Litchi. Screen say “Signal Lost”. and there is a warning “Warning parse operator pos fail”
Any ideas….???

Litchi is not compatible with the Mini 4 Pro.
Litchi Pilot is, as mentioned in my previous post.

OMG. So simple but not to. I had downloaded Litch for DJI Drones from the play store. And that is where the confusion was on my end.
I just had to dig a bit to realize there was a different app. and all is good.
TirBar Thank you.
Are you using Litchi pilot? It is different from the regular app.
