Mini 4K (not pro) support

I haven’t seen any specific mention of support for Mini 4k, not the pro version. Either with the regular Litchi app or the Pilot version. Are there any Litchi versions that support the Mini 4k?

Nothing wrong with the app, it’s the drone that’s the problem as DJI never added it to an SDK, so it can’t be used with ANY 3rd party software

something does not jive with what you are saying… i am talking about the app called Fly Litchi for DJI Drones… because the app lists Mavic Mini… Mini2 Mini SE for example… I wish we could get an expert to chime in…

To be precise, the two apps produced by the people at Litchi are simply named “Litchi” and “Litchi Pilot”.

This issue has caught so many people by surprise. We continue to see around one posting per month from people who bought one of the Litchi apps thinking that either the Mini 4K or Mini 2 SE are supported. This is partially due to DJI’s poor naming convention (The Mini 4K is really a Mini 2 SE with a different camera). I think the people at Litchi would do themselves a favor by explicitly listing in the User’s Guide (and perhaps in the app stores) the drones that are and are NOT supported as they have done in this post in the News & Updates section:

yes I was assuming the Mini 2 SE would function the mini 4K as you said they supposed to be equal

I dont understand why DJI is doing this to us… it is just not work $1,000 upcharge for this software compatablitly… i tried connecting Litchi to the Mini 4k and it would not connect… soneone somewhere said something about initiatiating the connection with the DJI app then transitioning to Litchi… What Da?

Because dji haven’t added it to an SDK, which is required for folk such as litchi to create software to fly the dji drones
