After about 6 years Litchi has suddenly stopped worked. When i i click the Google Earth symbol to start the flight I’m getting, “ Error processing mission”. Help.
Which google earth symbol? It sounds like you are using outdated software. Use the new Hub at https://hub.flylitchi.com/
Would you clarify what you mean by “Litchi”? Are you referring to the Litchi app, the Litchi Pilot app, the old Mission Hub, or the new Mission Hub?
I am referring to Virtual Litchi Mission, (VLM 2.8.4) which has always worked flawlessly for me. I fly a Mavic 2 Pro. I have no real reason to change or “upgrade” or change but do I have choice in the matter? Thank you for your help.
The Virtual Litchi Mission (VLM) is a desktop program written by someone that is not associated with Litchi.
If it doesnt work, you will have to contact the author of that program.
Virtual Litchi Mission works properly for me. However, if you do not provide your own Google Elevation API key, you will get the error mentioned. You would have seen this in the “Activity Log”:
8:02:27 AM Google Elevation API returned error
8:02:27 AM REQUEST_DENIED - You must enable Billing on the Google Cloud Project
8:02:27 AM Error Getting WP Ground Elevations from Google Earth
8:02:27 AM Error Correcting Waypoint Altitudes for reference
What are you referring to here? What are you suggesting needs to be upgraded?
Virtual Litchi Mission 2.8.4 which I have been using foears with my Mavic 2 Pro.
The new version of Litchi Hub now includes most VLM features directly and natively in the web browser. If you still prefer using VLM, that option remains available. However, for any assistance, please contact the program’s author or reach out to the user community, which you can find here.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I would be more than happy to use the NEW fly app. but as I understand it my Mavic 2 Pro (which uses the Go 4 app) is not compatible. I would be over the moon if you could tell me me otherwise.
The new hub supports older drones and provides the same features as the previous model. Only certain new capabilities designed for newer drones, such as spiral and orbit during waypoint flights are not supported. You can still take full advantage of the new mapping functionality, along with all 2D/3D simulation features and camera projection tools.
I assume by your reply the new hub is compatible the Go 4, in that’s the case I’ll be over the moon!
Thank you for your help.
The Litchi Hub is compatible with most drone models, including Mavic 2 Pro.

Thany you yes! I think the mighty penny has dropped - at last!
Litchi Hub question, if I’m unlucky enough to lose contact with drone will it complete the mission as instructed in settings? Thank you.
For Mavic 2 Pro yes.
