I’m actually aware of that. Now do it like this, start the DJI Fly app, then start the Litchi Pilot app and close the DJI Fly app again.
With this detour I get the Litchi Pilot to run with the N1 controller…
A suggestion. While I realize that eventually the full mission planning capabilities of the regular app will be in the Pilot app, dealing with mission files would be easier (actually, in both apps) if they were (at least optionally) kept in an area of the filesystem without the access restrictions that complicate access to /Android/data (e.g., Downloads, which all file apps usually have access to). Just a thought. Thanks.
@wesbarris @vico. would also like to know if VR mode would be available at app launch, i have the mini 3 pro and look forward to it.
Tested a bit on RC Pro
Tried to change from 48mp to 12mp, then it started switching between the two for ever.
No camera view
Has anyone experimented with obstacle avoidance behavior on Pilot beta waypoint missions? My understanding was that DJI activated it in MSDK 5 in the same way it was operational in MSDK 4 – braking only, no bypass – after originally having it disabled in MSDK 5. This seems like a prudent choice. Thanks.
Force stop DJI Fly and/or DJI Pilot 2 should solve both issues
IMPORTANT : Before starting Litchi Pilot on DJI’s RC Pro, make sure to go to Settings → Apps → DJI Fly/DJI Pilot 2 → Force Stop
Unlikely as VR is not highest priority
Most likely the mission you can’t load has invalid data, please send it to support@flylitchi.com so we can investigate further
OK i’ll do but with the first Beta-Version, the missions could be imported but i saw only 100 Missions listed and now i see all my missions but none can be imported. I’ll send one of the missions.
No app is on autostart, so DJI app wasn’t even running.
when trying to install the app, i do get a parsing error.
is there a special android version required to run the app?
(on my huawei i do have SCL-L21C432B130 Android Version: v5.1.1)
will the app be released for IOS too?
The answer to that is NO as DJI are not releasing an SDK for iOS
Will you not develop support for Mini 3 pro in the original Litchi app?
And will we need to buy Litchi Pilot if we already have Litchi?
Today i tried my first WP Mission with my Mini3 Pro.
Mobile Device Huawei P30Pro.
Missions planned at the Hub via Win10 PC.
On the Field nothing happens after load the Mission and press start, tried to select different Startpoints in the requester after press the Start Button.
Drone sits in the Air and hovers - nothing more happend
Use the same mobile device with Litchi and my M1P - all works fine !
Anything special to do before start Missions ?
Greatings from Germany
The first one isn’t possible as they use a different SDK
The answer to the second question is yes
Nothing special, other than checking RC is in “Normal” mode and that you’re not in a no fly zone
Fly with the Sticks normally so its not a no Fly Zone.
Switch Mode from Cine to Normal some times, cause the App says:“Normal Mode Required”
Nothing helps, Drone sits in the Air and dont do a Mission.
Im clueless
Litchi Pilot requires the motors of the aircraft being turned OFF in order to start a waypoint mission.
Motors off before waypoint missions can start? Now there’s a curve ball I’d never have guessed as a culprit preventing takeoff
It’s the same with Litchi and the Mavic Mini.
So I assume it’s a general requirement for all VSC drones.
