You can input a positive interpolation angle. However, the “tilt camera” action must be 0 (zero) or less.
Thank you, we will give it a try. May be, an „upward look“ towards a POI higher than the actual drone position could work as well?
Thx, Albrecht
Has this been rectified? Will the M3E continue the mission upon loss of signal, or does it still RTH?
The DJI waypoint engine is not supported yet but we hope to add support soon.
The newest update of Litchi Pilot has completely broken the Android app. When I open the planing mode, it is impossible to return back to flight mode. Planing mode crashes constantly, making waypoint planing impossible.
It is not possible to load saved missions into flight mode view.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WORKS
This version needs to be rolled back and the previous again made available.
I am now looking for alternatives.
Not working for me all of a sudden- updated last week and worked fine. Now when I open the app it jumps between the world view and my location view then crashes.
Get the error message:
“Something went wrong with Litchi Pilot
Litchi Pilot closed because this app has a bug.
Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error.”
Tried clearing cache and app data but no joy?
The return back to flight mode should be fixed in the latest build 286, sorry about that!
Crashes should not happen normally however do check that you have google chrome browser installed and set as default browser, otherwise Litchi will use the android webview to launch the Hub and it has known crash issues.
You should be able to load a flight plan after selecting it via the ‘load’ button on the left side of the screen
Sounds like an issue specific to your mobile device, please do give us more details and a video of the crash if possible
Second uninstall/reinstall seems to have fixed it- will keep you posted if it comes back
I have a problem: I launched Litchi Pilot and everything worked fine, but now I don’t have a camera preview in the DJI Fly application (the camera itself works and takes photos). I tried everything: I uninstalled Litchi, uninstalled DJI Fly, changed the cable, restored the tablet to factory settings and it’s still the same. On another smartphone it works ok
I’m guessing you’re running DJI Fly on an Android device. You will need to force-stop DJI Fly in order for Litchi to display the camera view.
Read my message again. I have no problem seeing the camera view in Litchi Pilot. Unfortunately, Litchi changed something so that now I can’t get the preview in DJI Fly. I don’t know how, but the camera settings parameters are saved somewhere, because even after resetting the tablet to factory settings, DJI Fly still remembered my previous camera settings for the set with my tablet. The same settings are also in Litchi Pilot (interestingly, I can take 48 MP photos, although I do not have this option in the settings). When changing the tablet, the settings are new and the view from the camera in DJI FLy is there. But I’m not trying to install Litchi Pilot there because I’ll soon be left without screens. Currently, Litchi has broken something and I can’t use the tablet (I can fly in Litchi Pilot, but considering the beta version, I’m afraid of what will happen if the app crashes.
Then try “force-closing” Litchi.
Camera settings are stored in the drone. If you change them in one app, the same setting will be seen in another app.
I tried the Force and it didn’t help. As you write, the drone has remembered something and does not allow the view from the camera in DJI Fly, but only in Litchi Pilot. And I have no idea how to make the drone forget the camera settings.
How, exactly did you perform the “force-stop”? “Force-stopping” an app is done like this:
To force stop Litchi, go to the device Settings → Apps → Litchi → Force Stop
Yes, I know that and that’s what I did. Neither forcing the LP to stop nor uninstalling it helps.
Have you tried uninstalling DJI fly and downloading and installing the latest version from the DJI website, also have you asked on the DJI forum
Yes, I uninstalled everything. I did a tablet’s factory reset. This is not a problem with the tablet but with what Litchi sent to the drone. I doubt that the DJI forum will help me fix something on the Litchi side.
But isn’t it DJI fly that isn’t working properly (No surprises there), which is why i suggested the DJI forum
DJI is not responsible for the use of third-party applications. DJI will not solve the problems caused by Litchi. The DJI app works properly, and the drone is also fully functional with another tablet. The tablet is not covered by DJI warranty. Only the creators of Litchi Pilot can fix the problem that their application caused. And that’s all I can count on, because I can’t use any software to change what Litchi sent to the drone.
