[OPEN BETA] Litchi Pilot

Thanks Chris! So am I right to assume if the device can run DJI Fly, that it can run Litchi Pilot for my Mini 3 Pro?

If it is Android, then I believe the answer is Yes.

The timer for flying (below the battery percentage) is very hard to see, the contrast is not good.
Also we need the camera tilt indicator, that is completely missing. Can you fix those 2 requests, please.

I own both and they are bulky, hard on the neck because of the momentum created from the larger phones and distance of the phone from the eyes, and get steamed up quickly any time not winter…

There is no need for Litchi to fly with these!!

The stereo FPV in good old Litchi is fantastic. Is this mode going to be available in the new Litchi Pilot?

How can I get the beta?

Thanks!

At the moment, the beta is only working on the waypoints part of Litchi.

Details on how to get the beta are in the first post of this thread, however as I understand it from reading posts, the beta program is fully subscribed at this point in time

I’m wrong on many points but the DJI mini 4 is not that far out and will have some of the waypoint ability like the Air 3. I have one of the non pro mini 3’s and use android 13 and couldn’t get it working. My wife just ordered me the Air 3 so I’ll quit messing with this stuff.

Thanks.

Are there plans to have the fpv mode for mini 3 pro in either the old litchi or the new litchi pilot?

Any mode for the mini 3 series will be in the new litchi pilot, the original litchi isn’t compatible with mini 3

I have now done some Litchi Beta test flights with the waypoints. These all went well. I’ve gone through the forum a bit, a lot. What I still want to know, what happens if the drone loses the signal. Just like the previous Litchi app, I get to see “lost signal”. and then I can press the home button to go back. Maybe a simple question, but I haven’t had a loose signal yet. For the enthusiast, one of my test flights. https://youtu.be/h2UMgKuajOM In the beginning you sweat a bit when you see the drone flying away from you and completely out of sight. But when you hear the soft buzz again, there will be a smile on the mouth. When the drone comes to an obstacle and stops. What then? Continue manually? or return to home

If you have lost the signal to your drone (Mini 3), pressing any button on your controller will have no effect on the drone (because you have lost the signal). Instead, the drone will automatically execute its “lost signal” behavior which is RTH.

That’s up to you, whatever you feel comfortably with.

Hi I would like to join the Litchi Pilot beta programm, but is says no more slots available.

have the same problem, I’m in a geo zone with limits, with the Dji app I can unlock it, while if I start the flight with lychee when it is positioned on the first waypoint it gives me that error :frowning:

I would love to be a tester if a spot opens up. Mini3P

What is going on, or am I doing wrong. Last waypoint flight went well after restarting a few times. Made another waypoint route today. Connected to the drone and pressed to fly route. And drone flies away. I just didn’t get a picture from the camera, so I did return to home. After trying everything, no connection with the drone anymore, but the drone does fly and the camera can also be moved, but no image. What do or go wrong.

Strange, tried again at home in the garden. Now it suddenly works again. Back to the location tomorrow to fly.

What device (phone) are you using?

Samsung A52 ( 12345678910, must be use 20 caracters
