I have dji mavic

I can get litchi to work on my drone but not all the features work. Then it tried to fly away, thankful for the trees,or it would have got away. Any ideas on any of my problems

Quite a few Mavic models to choose from. Which one do you have?

And, what features are you trying to use, that dont work?

Were you trying to fly a pre-planned mission, when it tried to fly away?

I have the first Mavic.

I could take off and fly around. I was trying to use the track and follow modes.

Something was said on my phone, I didn’t have my phone loud enough to hear it. Also, drone was 7 feet in the air and I was in front of it. Then, all of a sudden it turned and took off. I tried calling it back home and also push the joysticks together, etc. Nothing worked and it crashed into a tree.

DON’T try! especially Follow Mode.

If you activated Follow Mode, it did NOT take off/fly away, it was positioning itself relative to you according to the Follow settings you choose.

Nothing worked and it crashed

You can stop any autonomous flight by pressing the Pause button or by switching the flight mode switch on the remote controller to either C or S (Cine or Sport), as written in the Online User Guide.

Ok im definitely going to read the instructions

Just letting you know i had the follow set to 7ft high and 2 foot distance. It went a good 30 feet before hitting my tree line.

The ACTUAL relative position of the drone depends on the Location Accuracy of your smart device, see the first 2 pictures in the thread I linked above.
