When using the grid mission designer, the satellite view option does not work. It is a blank screen. I tried several computers, neither of them work. It used to work but not anymore, I’m I doing something wrong?
I need the satellite view to make the mission since I can’t load a Arcgis polygon.

Where in the world do you even find the grid mission designer? I have searched around on the web app and it doesn’t seem to exist anymore with the new update. I need to make DEMs and orthomosaics and it doesn’t seem possible now. And if it works on the mobile device app, that doesn’t apply to me because I have an Air 3S which is only supported on the web app. Thanks.
First, you must be using the new Mission Hub. Then, when you create a new mission, it will give you the choice of either a waypoint mission or a mapping mission.
I think the 3D reconstruction ability which is what Litchi calls it to do Grid pattern mapping. As far as I’ve seen that mapping mode is still not available. Other posts regrading this mode and for now most are creating two seperate plans, one in each direction.
I have had to do that, for sure. It does work but it is time consuming.
Agreed. It’s been roughly a few months so it’s anyone’s guess when Litchi will implement that mode. I don’t do much mapping but I have another app which has Grid mapping.
