connect DJI to LITCHI software

im sure this been asked a bunch, but i couldnt immediately find it on this search. But… how do i connect the Litchi to my DJI Mini 3 Pro? do i download another app? do i connect my drone or controller to a computer and install something? im kinda clueless… but appreciate the help… thank you for responses!

“Litchi” is NOT compatible with the DJI Mini 3 Pro.

The new and still in beta “Litchi Pilot” app is, however ONLY available for Android.

You can download it to your Android device here:

For more information visit the Litchi web page:

i uninstalled the previous lithci (and go fly) and installed the litchi pilot version as mentioned above. Turned on controller and drone, let them connect and then connected the controller (i have the controller with the screen on it) with usb cable to my android phone and litchi still doesnt pop up, just a files app and an app that says GPS WAYPOINTS/GEO ITEMS. Am I missing a step?

SPECS

  • Litchi software says its version 1.0.0_BETA-DJI.

  • Dji min pro version… V01.00.0900

  • DJI RC V01.03.1900

Thanks for the help!

You can NOT use any 3rd party app with the DJI RC controller.
Connecting the RC to a phone/tablet does NOT work.

You will need the DJI RC-N1 controller to use Litchi Pilot.

oh… well darnit. So, any suggestions on what i can use that is equivalent to litchi’s capabilities with the drone i have?

Read the first line of my previous post again.

oh… yea. sorry.

ok, i will watch some videos to see the capabilities of the native controller software. im assuming its nothing close to what litchee can do?

Hello :0)
There are two solutions

  1. Buy a used DJI RC N1  because it’s cheaper. An Android smartphone or tablet on which you can install Litchi Pilot.
  2. Search on YouTube (it’s definitely there) how to install other applications on DJI RC1 and after learning you will do it but is it worth it because the controller barely works anymore. They don’t upload newer DJI FLY, the last one is 1.13.12 :frowning:
I chose solution 1. Here you can see my route: Mission Hub - Litchi

Ps. On RC N1 you will have access to DJI FLY 1.15.8

There is a way to create a file in Litchi on the pc ap then convert and transfer it to the RC2. Found it online and with using Litchi Utilities online

Ad how is this helpfull, or even usefull ?
