Waypoint Mission while flying with Litchi Pilot Beta

Hi all. I’m flying a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise and I’m trying to figure out how to create a waypoint mission while flying for construction progress video and photos. I can’t find any instruction or documentation on this. I’m new to Litchi in general but this is where my area of focus is. Thanks in advance for pointing me. to any helpful resources on this topic.

Not yet implemented in Litchi Pilot Beta.

Here you will find “What’s New” for Litchi Pilot Beta:

I’m in the same boat, wanting to fly DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise missions and create waypoints while flying. I thought this would be a basic feature, but after 2yrs of BETA is still not implemented. Is this software serious? I’ll retire before it’s usable :frowning:

There is an app which you can fly the drone manually to each location and add a waypoint. I think this is what you’re looking for.

There is the native app, DJI Pilot 2 for DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise, but it’s not very user friendly. In the past I have used Litchi with the DJI Mavic 2 and it’s been fantastic. Replaying a mission I can fly to each exact location and pause to fine tune the framing of the photo, snap, then continuing (inspection work). That’s what I was hoping for in this BETA but don’t think it will ever happen…. :frowning:

It will happen - it’s a relatively high priority. The plan is to allow adding waypoints at the drone’s current location (saving drone heading and gimbal angle). Then you can edit the flight in the Hub if you want to customize further (actions, curves etc)

Excellent - thank you! Yes it would be a big help. I do guttering inspections so fly to 40+ precise locations of large warehouse roof and record each waypoint to repeat the inspection photo every year. It worked relatively well with Litchi & DJI Mavic 2, however because there was no RTK, I had to pause at each waypoint and slightly adjust the tilt or angle to achieve 100% accuracy. I would still do the same with M3E for complete precision, but recording those waypoints first while flying would be the first step.
