I just started using Litchi about a month ago. Find it fantastic for planning missions in the mountains using the Virtual Mission option. A week ago VLM tab stopped working and got the following message from Chrome regarding the extension.
Blockquote [image]Chrome Litchi Virtual Mission
This extension may soon no longer be supported
Remove or replace it with similar extensions from the Chrome Web Store
Find alternative
On
Description
Adds ability to export mission from mission hub as google earth virtual tour
Version
0.2.1

Chrome provided the option to turn the extension back on TEMPORARILY until I find a replacement I did opt to turn it back on and it started working again.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is this issue being addressed by the Litchi folks?
Are there any alternatives?
I rely on testing Litchi missions using Google Chrome, so this would be a concern to me. However, it ran perfectly two minutes ago.
I haven’t received this message, but it’s probably because I am using an old Mac with old OS and an old Chrome (128.0.6613.138 (Official Build) (x86_64)), and someone else’s adaptation of VLM.
However, following your posting, I just checked the extension, and it reads:
“This extension may soon no longer be supported
Remove or replace it with similar extensions from the Chrome Web Store”
That said, in the reviews section for the extension I use, there are reports from 2021 of people being threatened that the extension “Will expire from today?”
No, this is not being addressed by the Litchi folks because the Google Chrome VLM extension is not created by Litchi. Instead, it was created by a person who used to frequent the Mavic Pilots forum. He based his work off of the Virtual Litchi Mission Windows application. I do not know if he is still actively supporting this. Here is his original thread:
If you are a Windows user, the alternative is to use the Virtual Litchi Mission application. It is available from this thread:
