A recent change in the new Mission Hub allows one to configure unlimited camera actions (rotate drone, tilt camera, take photo, etc.) at a single waypoint.
Older drones such as the Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom are still limited to 15 actions per waypoint. DJI Fly drones are limited to 1 (one) action per waypoint, when using the DJI Waypoint Engine. The new Mission Hub includes an informational popup explaining this when a DJI Fly drone is selected.
My question is: What drones can actually execute missions containing unlimited actions at a single waypoint? My guess is that unlimited actions would only be supported when using Litchi Pilot and the Litchi Waypoint Engine. This would suggest that only the Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro support this feature. Is that correct? If so, it might make sense to limit the number of actions being configured depending on the drone type selected.
I just tried designing a mission for an Air 2S with 20 actions at a waypoint. The Litchi app only shows the first 15. The Air 2S does not have on-board waypoints. So, I’m back to my original thought that more than 15 actions are only supported in the Litchi Pilot app using the Litchi Engine.
For our older android app, you can have more than 15 actions per waypoint when using Litchi engine only.
For our older iOS app, you can’t have more than 15 actions regardless of engine, this is something we’re thinking of fixing, but unfortunately it’s not as trivial as it looks. Litchi itself isn’t limiting it, but it stores the actions in the DJI SDK structure which is only keeping 15 actions max.
For Litchi Pilot, you can do more than 15 actions with all supported drone models and engine combos.
