Unable to save mission on Android tablet

On my android tablet, I’m able to enter the planning screen, create POI, waypoints, etc. It seems to work great. But so far I’ve been unable to save the mission. If I manually save it, it acts as if it was saved (no error message, etc.).

When I go to return to the main (flying) screen, I’m prompted to save the mission, but it doesn’t save. The only way to exit throws away the mission I just planned.

In summary, neither manually saving the mission nor attempting to save it prior to exit work.

Make sure you are Logged in with your Litchi ID and password.

Possibly due to temporarily anomalous internet connections, Litchi waypoint missions may fail to save for a day or two before normalcy is restored. This minor glitch occurs once in a while and then just as quickly restores itself. It can be disconcerting when it happens, but it ends in a day or two on the outside.

I was logged into the litchi app and then hit the arrow to go to the plannings page. Is there a separate login?

That’s ridiculous. If the system regularly can’t save data for a day or so then it has significant design an implementation issues or is hosted somewhere terrrible.

The fact that it doesn’t advise the user that it can’t save the data points to serious data integrity issues.

I’m going to get this fly my drone when it can’t get saving data right?

Litchi authors, if you need help please reach out.

Litchi is by a wide margin the best bang for the buck when it comes to DJI drone flight control apps, and as such, I cannot say I agree with the notion that a few hours down-time every blue moon is a deal breaker.

The longest I’ve had to wait for the system to return to normalcy has been 48 hours, and there is no definitive evidence that such service interruptions are caused by imperfections in Litchi’s software architecture. I speculate that weather-related internet connectivity interruptions might be the culprit, just as they can be when other online platforms using cloud storage protocol shut down unexpectedly for short durations of time.

There is only one place to log in. It is at the bottom of the main flight modes menu. Obviously, you also need to be connected to the internet to log in and then save missions.
