Two Bugs found in latest version of the Litchi app

Dear developers.

now we have spring and I started again, flying my DJI Mini 2.

But in the latest version I found two little bugs.

  1. The drone will not start with the “Take off” button in Litchi. I get the error “Can not start, Unknown error”. Starting with the control sticks is working.

I am NOT in any forbidden zone.

  1. The option “fly radius” is not working. When for example, I set this to a radius of 50m, I can fly over the radius. This should not be possible. I tested with DJI Fly, here it is working well. At a range of 50m the drone stops.

It would be nice, if you could fix this. The latter one IMO is more important for security reasons.

Thank you very much for your work and efforts!

Best regards

Hans

Answering myself. The second one is no bug, it is a feature. Reading the help documentation, I discovered, that the radius is shown on the map, but it is possible to fly over the radius.

This is documented.

However, this is anice feature in DJI FLY App: You can not go further than your radius is set.

IMO, this little feature should be added in Litchi, too. As I think it is more than a nice feature, I think it is a great feature in the sense of safety and comfort.

Hope, the developers will implement it in the next version (if possible).

Best regards

Hans

Since these comments are referring to the Mini 2 which uses the regular Litchi app (which is not in beta), I have moved this from the “Beta Feedback” section to the “Help” section. I have also changed the title.

Hmm, this is ok for me, but as I am registered in the beta program, I also get the bet version of Litchi app.

So, of course, I reported it for the beta version.

But if you send it to the regular version, this is fully ok for me.

We don’t intend to add new functionality to the older app now. It is in maintenance (bug fixes mostly).
