Strange parameter value changes in CSV files

I believe that something in my workflow corrupts the CSV file and therefore Litchi refuses to execute the mission. I fly an old Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, which is still in mint condition.

I have exported a CSV file between my workflow steps and strangely enough, its contents change. The changes appear in places where I have not consciously made myself any changes using different user interfaces (the app and Hubs). However, something is causing them.

This is what I do

  • I use the Litchi app (v. 2.15.7) on my iPad and create a mission.
  • Then I simulate it. I use the new Mission Hub, through Chrome browser.
  • The simulation, especially in 3D, triggers changes. Changes in POI placements, heading and gimbal pitch values, maybe even small movements of waypoints. This makes the field of view look like I want it to. The changes are included in the mission file. As I understand it, this is now a more or less automatic process (automagic?). I’ve tried also to use the new Hub only to simulate the mission and then make the neccessary changes either using the app or the old version of the Hub (again with Chrome, avoiding Safari, which was at least earlier not recommended for this)
  • Afterwards the mission is ready to run but more often than not an error occurs, the download fails with the message “Invalid parameters in waypoint”.
  • When I view the mission file in both the iPad app and the Litchi Mission Hub (old and new), there are no invalid parameters.
  • So what should I look for next?

I keep getting the “Invalid parameters in waypoint” error message,

Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you find a way around it?

Welcome to the forum.

The subject of your question mentions a CSV file. However, your workflow says nothing about a CSV file. Is a CSV file involved in your process?

Please share your mission so that we can examine it.

In my post I mention this:

I can share an example of a failing mission. In which format would it be most useful?

I see that now where you said that the contents of the CSV file change. The CSV file contains a lot of information it would help if you specified exactly what contents change.

You can share a mission by unchecking the “Private” checkbox in the “Open” dialog in Mission Hub v1 and then post the URL here.
