Speed changing?

Phantom 4 Pro… I have the speed of my mission in mission settings set to 14 miles per hour. However, for two consecutive waypoints, I reduced the speed to 11 mph. For that portion of the flight, the speed seems to be pulsing several times between 11 and 14 back to 11 back to 14 and so on. How do I get the speed to Simply slow down one time to 11mph and resume at 14mph?

Is the portion of the flight where the speed fluctuates within good signal range of the controller?

Yes it is. But it shouldn’t really matter, as on the phantoms, I have the mission set to continue if signal is temporarily lost.

By changing the speed (overriding the cruising speed) at only ONE waypoint.

Read upon the Waypoint Setting “Speed” in the Online User Guide:

The Phantom 4 Pro has on-board / native waypoints. A waypoint mission is uploaded to the drone before that mission is executed. However, historically, custom speeds at waypoints were not uploaded to the drone. Instead, they were send to the drone in real time and required a good connection between the drone and controller. In 2022, Litchi made a change to their software that would allow custom speeds at waypoints to be uploaded to the drone “for those drones whose firmware supported it”.

What you described could be attributed to a weak signal if you are using an old version of the Litchi app, have a really old version of firmware in your drone, or if the firmware in the Phantom 4 Pro does not support custom speeds at waypoints. I don’t know if that is the case.

Check if these points are marked as “straight lines or points,” as this can happen with curves.
