Smooth Curves in New Hub Not Available?

I’ve created a smooth curves mission in the new hub, but when I load the mission to fly in the litchi app, it only shows straight lines. The app only offers straight and curved missions, not smooth curves. Flying a Mini 2. I looked for Litchi Pilot in the apple app store, and it’s not offered. Is there any solution to this?

For the mini 2 you need the litchi app, and not litchi pilot, and is it the original mini 2,rather than the mini 2SE, if its the 2SE, then you’re out of luck completely as DJI never added that to an SDK, so the only program you can use to it is dji fly

Thank you for the feedback. This was a bug in the Hub UI. The Mini 2 only supports the ‘Curved Turns’ and ‘Straight Lines’ path modes, which is the same behavior for drones using Litchi for DJI Drones. It should now be fixed.

Indeed, the new hub now does not offer smooth curves for my Mini 2.

Another thing I noticed is that the old hub allowed a max and cruising speed of 33.6 mph for the Mini 2, but the new hub changes the cruising speed to 22.4 mph and won’t allow an increase. Another bug, or something more fundamental?

This is expected behavior, not a bug.

The speed is now limited because waypoint missions are executed using the “Normal” flight mode. The Mini 2’s maximum speed in Normal mode is 22.4 mph, which is why the new Hub does not allow higher cruising speeds.

The 33.6 mph value corresponds to the drone’s “Sport” mode maximum speed. However, waypoint missions cannot be flown in “Sport” mode, so that speed is not applicable for automated flights.

The speeds in the new Hub were updated to better reflect the actual flight limitations of the aircraft during waypoint missions.

The settings screen for the new hub now shows 33.6 mph for both the max and cruising speeds (as has it always been for the settings in the old hub). And the new hub now allows me to set the speed to 33.6 mph at any waypoint, and those speeds are also reflected in a simulated run. But, as you have pointed out and DJI confirms on its website, the actual max speed for normal mode is 22.4 mph. I just confirmed this behavior in an actual waypoint flight in sustained winds of 25 mph, gusting to 35 mph (as it was reported by my nearby weather station, and yes, the flight was very scary!). I think it would be far less confusing if the settings tab limited speeds to 22.4 for both max and crusing speeds, because that’s what happens during a Litchi mission.

Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue you’re experiencing?

My error. I had not selected the drone model to Mini 2, sorry
