Sensors active while area mapping?

I’m trying to map a logging cut area to try and find walkable routes. I need to get the drone low to get high enough resolution.

When i set the height above take off or height above ground for this… is the drone still paying attention to its sensors while it flys the waypoints? Just making sure if i get too low, it won’t fly into trees that normally the sensors would spot.

oh, also… when litchi is running, does it disregard the “no sideways flight” setting for the mini pro 3?

All that is controlled by the drones firmware and should work the same as what it is set to in the DJI app. With trees I’d be careful and ready to pause the mission because small branches are not easy for the sensors to see.

The drone won’t actively avoid object (i.e. go around it). It should however stop in front of one.
