Rename flight plan on RC2 not reflected in the Litchi hub (using the bridge)

When I update the name in the RC 2 controller, the “Smart DJI Fly Export” which uses the Litchi bridge doesn’t reflect this name change.

So it’s rather hard to figure out which flight is which flight.

On Android, the flight name cannot be changed, which is why we change the thumbnail instead to make it easier to select the flight in DJI Fly.

Follow these steps to display your thumbnail instead of the DJI Fly one:

  1. Open the DJI Fly app (drone connection not required)
  2. Enter the Camera View then tap on the Plan Waypoint Flight button
  3. Place 2 waypoints on the map, preferably near the same location as the Litchi Hub flight
  4. Exit Waypoint Flight Planning mode, then tap “Save and Exit” in the popup.

Replacing an existing saved flight that is not newly created will not update the thumbnail due to caching issues.
