Recover Deleted Missions?

Hi, like an idiot I deleted some of my saved missions in Mission Hub yesterday. Is there a way to restore them?

remorseful, geb

There is no un-delete feature. However, if you have deleted a mission from the Mission Hub but have not yet opened Litchi on your flying device, do the following:

  1. Place your flying device in airplane mode (remove access to the network).
  2. Run the Litchi app and open the mission that was deleted in the Mission Hub.
  3. Save that mission in the Litchi app using a new mission name.
  4. Turn airplane mode off.
  5. The Litchi app should automatically sync the newly saved mission (which is a copy of the deleted mission) back to the hub.

Thanks Wes, this is a really great tip! I was able to recover all deleted missions that way in the Litchi app on my iPad.

One small problem: after turning airplane mode off and trying to sync, the Litchi app says:
“Error Your session has expired. Please log out of your Litchi account and then log in again to refresh your session.”

If I would do that, I would presumably lose the recovered missions, which are only stored locally on my iPad for now, right?

I already tried to find a path to the locally stored files on the iPad, but no luck so far…

Try selecting the “Check and sync license” in the Litchi settings.

This function also requires me to log out. But I found out in the meantime that I could simply E-mail them to myself, problem solved.

Thank you so much again, this really made my day!

That is a stroke of genius right there.

FYI, actually, logging out and in again in the app did not delete the locally saved copies of my missions. So even better!
