PlayStore force Litchi to meet new requirements?

I hope this contact finds my friends in good health.

Today (November 9, 2025) my Samsung 24 smartphone received the “Android 16 ONE UI 8.0” update and I ask to Litchi: with each Android update, does PlayStore force Litchi to meet new PlayStore requirements? I ask this because another app I had (Auriga DJI) is no longer opening and the message “An error occurred with AurigaDJI
AurigaDJI closed because this app has a bug.
Try updating this app after the developer provides a repair for this error.” appears, but this app is no longer available on the Play Store and the developer has permanently deleted the e_mail and Messenger that were registered on that platform, therefore there is no longer any possibility of contacting him. I congratulate Litchi on the high level of seriousness and reliability of this developer. Take care and God bless You.

Play Store does introduce new requirements over time, but existing apps usually continue to work unless an update is required to meet a new Android API or security change. Litchi is actively maintained, so when Google or Android changes something important, the developer can update the app to stay compatible. Apps like Auriga DJI often break after major Android updates because they are no longer maintained, not because Play Store blocks them directly. Staying updated with Litchi from the Play Store is generally enough to avoid these issues.
