I’d like to be able to plan a mission and track my location using entirely offline maps, similar to what OSMAnd uses. I realize that they’re not satellite maps, but I’d actually prefer line maps anyway. There are tons of sources for downloadable Open Street Map files such as MapsForge (Index of /pub/Mirrors/download.mapsforge.org/maps/v5). That would allow me to do offline mission planning no matter where I was instead of having to pre-cache map images by zooming around the screen.
