I flying Mavic 2 with Litchi.
During the mission flight, sometimes I want to pause the mission and move the Mavic backward a little for confirm some things.
Previously, I could move the Mavic backward by controller stick, but when I tried the same operation recently, the Mavic remained the position and could not move backward.
Did the specifications change in a recent update?
I don’t want to stop the mission flight, but just confirm some things.
I want restart the mission after the confirmation, with just push pause button again.
Flight mode is normal.
If any pilots have had a similar experience, please give me some advice.
Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro use the DJI onboard waypoint engine.
From memory (may remember wrong!), you should be able to fly backwards along the path using the joysticks. Did you try without pausing?
Support for this varies depending on the drone model and waypoint engine used.
With Litchi Pilot (newer drone models, not Mavic 2) and the Litchi engine, you can fly anywhere you want while the mission is paused.
Thank you for your quick advice.
Do you mean if I move the controller stick backward while a mission is in progress, the Mavic will fly backward?
I have never tried that way.
I will try it right away next time.
You should be able to do that with the Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro
I have confirmed your advice.
When I pushed the joystick backward during the mission progress, the Mavic immediately move backward.
Not only moving backward, when I continued to push the stick backward, Mavic continued the mission in reverse.
When I returned the joystick to neutral, the mission started again from that position normally.
I’ve been using Litchi since the Phantom 4.
The responses are completely different from the Phantom 4.
I was very surprised, because I had never done this operation with a Mavic before.
It’s exactly the operations what I’ve wanted to do.
Thank you for your great advice!
