[OPEN BETA] Litchi Pilot

Thank you Litchi Team.
Just been out and ran 3 successful small missions with my MP3. I’ve used Litchi for a few years now with my Mavic Mini and looking forward to the full array of flight suites on the Litchi Pilot. I hope the Litchi Pilot App will be a one time purchase.

Great news!

Last summer I tried ti register for the pilot-beta programme. During the time (2Days) that I required to get an android phone, required for pilot-Beta, Litchi closed restricted the number of beta-testers, so my android-phone lies around quite useless since then.

In the meantime I got a RC-Pro controller additionalky and would like to try litchi-pilot from that device. But with my very limited experience in the android world, I woud appreciate a step by step instrution, how to proceed to install connect and run the pilot software on the rc-pro.

I own a dji mini2 and a dji mini3pro and intend to operate the mini3pro witch litchi pilot.

Thank you
Albrecht

Thank you Litchi Team!
Will there be a “follow me” mode added?
I used Mini 1 with the Litchi app, now i have the Mini 3 and would like to have the “follow me” mode.
That’s the only thing i’m missing

Fiz um teste com o Litchi Pilot Beta 211 (Moto G53, Android 14). Funcionou muito bem.

I’ve been trying few times with simple 2 waypoints mission with my Mini 3 and it always fails… I wish to make hyperlapse - in mission settings photo capture interval to 2s, cruise speed to 0.5 m/s. 2 waypoint, straight 300m line.

Litchi Pilot app keeps crashing/restarting in random - sometimes in about 20% mission progress, sometimes about 50%… Never had accomplished mission yet…

App is restarting by itself, mission is aborted, but drone stays in virtual joystick mode (I need to start mission over and stop it manually to exit virtal joystick mode)

EDIT: I’ve tried to disable 2s photo interval and record video manually instead - with same crash result, so I think it is not problem with photo interval

What setup are you using? Mobile Device model, Android version, Litchi version including build number, etc

Litchi Pilot 1.0.0_BETA-dji Build 211

please send an email to support@flylitchi.com so we can investigate further. Crashes like that are not normal and it should not happen, it seems a device specific issue

I have just read the December 2023 update. Very exciting as I have a Mini 3 Pro and want to run waypoint missions as I do on my Mavic 2 pro.
I downloaded the file to my computer and to my iPhone. I cannot find it on the phone as an app. How do I install it? Feeling a little like a neophyte here, but sure would appreciate some direction as I would love to get started. BTW, I can’t find this new version in the App Store on my phone.
Thanks!

Read the very first post in this thread.

I’m testing newest build 222 with Mini 3 and I’ve noticed that Litchi Pilot is always setting max flight height limit to 120m (even when I changed it earlier in DJI Fly app to 500m) and cannot be changed. When I try to enter manually any number, error hint appears that valid values are between 0 and 0… When I enter 0, height limit is set to 15m.

Hi everybody,
I don’t have video in Litchi Pilot. So far everxthing works, but don’t have a video signal?
Fist time user, so be patiend with me :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Most likely DJI Fly is still running in the background.
FORCE CLOSE any DJI app before running Litchi/Litchi Pilot.

I think is just for Android user, I have Apple too and didn’t find for iPhone

Yes but How a Apple version ???

Obviously you did not read the very first post in this thread, so here a copy of the relevant text:

“iPhones and iPads: DJI no longer supports the iOS platform with their latest SDK”

But the lack of support for iOS is in the the first post so you don’t have to translate them all
