Off line google maps

I have been using Litchi for well over 5 months.
All that time i have been using my phone samsung galaxy S23.
all been going well with that setup.

So now i decided to get my self a 5.8 inch samsung galaxy Tab to use only for the
drone. This tab only has wifi so no cellphone option build in.
I know litchi uses Google maps, so knowing that the tab do not have any cellphone
option i download the offline map for the country were i lives. but still when i start up
litchi and i was to zoom in on the map or move the map like 2 km away from my location the map is not refreshing and also cannot find my home point.

Note:
If i normally go on google maps on my new tab and use it for navigation it works very well with the offline maps.

My question is how can i get Litchi to work with google off line maps???

A far simpler solution would be to tether your Tab to the mobile hotspot on your phone. That way you will have internet access on your Tab.

So i try connecting my phone to the tab that all was good but when i have to connect to the wifi from the remote, the phone wifi will disconnect.
i’m using a phantom 3 standard.
so that option did not work
any one else have more ideas

Then use Bluetooth to tether to your phone.
