Mission hub - positive tilt camera angle (upwards)

Only values between 0 and -90 degrees can be entered in the mission hub. Most drones have the option to turn the camera upwards (depending on the type of drone - approximately 30°).
Would it be possible to add this option to the action interface for missions?
Thanks in advance - Litchi + Mission hub are perfect!

This is something we will allow soon

Hi Vico, any news about hat? This would be something critical to us, we bought Litchi years ago and never used it because of that missing option to set the tilt of the camera upwards (up to 60°).

We’ve now increased the max to +60 degrees
The actual max will depend on the drone model you use.
Mini 3 series does support +60 but not many drones do

Dear Vico, wow - thank you very much for the fast response! Great, that we can now use Litchi for our project. kind regards

Dear Vico, now another question came up - there appears to be a limit on the number of actions, we would need up to 35 actions per waypoint, any idea how to achieve that, or can you also remove this limit?

You can now add up to 1000 actions per waypoint in the Hub.
Keep in mind, this will not work for older drone models, mavic 2 pro/zoom and older models only support up to 15

Hi, I’m using a Mavic 2 Pro. During mission execution, any actions that set a positive camera angle (tilt above the horizon) are ignored. Is there a known solution for this issue?

Since mavic 2 pro uses the onboard dji engine, the max gimbal pitch angle is 0 for the rotate gimbal pitch waypoint action

Thanks for the answer. Would a newer Mavic, like the 3 or 4, work better?

In my tests with a Mavic 2 I have found that when a positive gimbal pitch angle is used in a waypiont configuration (as opposed to a waypoint action), the gimbal will momentarily orient to the specified angle but then revert to +10 degrees.

For example, if I create a mission where all waypoints have the gimbal pitch angle set to +20 degrees, at the first waypoint, the Mavic 2 gimbal will go to +20 degrees but then settle back to +10 degrees. If I immediately reposition the gimbal to +20 degrees, the Mavic 2 gimbal will remain at +20 degrees for the remainder of the flight.

I have not experiences this with other DJI drones. The Mavic 2 definitely has an issue with positive gimbal angles.
