When loading mission to the drone (hit “Play”) the upload progresses, then I get an error on some missions. Popup says “Mission failed to load. reason: The information of” and cuts off - won’t expand, drill down, no action. No further diagnostic info.
Most likely one or more waypoints/POIs have an invalid value like:
-height (set above maximum height)
-positive interpolate angle beyond limit
-distance between 2 waypoints beyond limit
Search the forum for ‘SDK limits’.

What if he has screen recording turned on, in the litchi app, before he hits play?
I think the error message would be there on playing back the video.

Many variables, distance between way points, first and last to close to far away, many others, closely look at your mission.
