So I recently upgraded my route to include photos of the project I’m building.
The route itself loads perfectly fine in the app, including all of the photos. I can open it, scroll through it, and everything looks normal. I also still have a version of the same route without photos, and that one works completely fine.
The problem only starts when I actually try to start the route that contains the photos. As soon as I start it, the app crashes completely.
So basically:
Route without photos: loads and starts fine
Route with photos: loads and displays fine
Starting the route with photos: crashes the app
Because it only happens after adding the photos, it seems like something related to loading or handling the images once the route is actually started.
I can provide the route/project files, screenshots, or any logs if that helps with reproducing it.
The older Litchi app does not support some waypoint actions such as zoom.
Check that no waypoint have a zoom action, that’s probably what is causing this crash.
As long as you only use features available to the old app, there won’t be a crash. Check each waypoint for things like zoom actions and if there is any remove them.
Yes, select your drone model when planning a flight and this should limit functionality based on the drone/app combo selected.
There was a bug with zoom action being added to old apps when adding a Take Photo action in some cases, that bug has been fixed however an already existing flight may still have the zoom action which would need to be removed.
