Mavic Mini 1 - WP Actions - App Fails to Tilt camera up 20deg

I have a Mavic Mini 1, and I’ve been using the Litchi App for several years without any issues. But now that I’ve started doing panos, I’ve run into a weird bug.

When running waypoint missions and using an action to tilt the camera up, the app doesn’t tilt the camera to its maximum (+20°).
I did a test mission: the camera tilts fine from -90° to +15°, but any value above +15° (+20° to +99°) is ignored, and the tilt remains at +15°.
It also seems like the app gets confused, as sometimes the tilt indicator on the screen turns grey (as if inactive) when a +20° tilt action is sent during the mission, even causing the app to lag or pause for some seconds before moving to the next action.

The Mavic Mini 1’s maximum upward tilt is 20°, and when I use the RC, the camera tilts to +20° just fine, and the UI indicator in the Litchi App correctly shows +20°.

Can we fix this? Or is there any workaround?

For Mini 1, Mini 2 and Mini SE the max is 20, but when there is any wind, the max is reduced to 15 or even less in some cases. So we assume the max is 15 always to prevent any issues.

How can I override that and force it to use the full capabilities?
On the DJI App, even with strong winds I can tilt up fine to +20°.
I live in Netherlands, here anything above 20m is always strong winds

There is a similar issue with the Mavic 2. When I capture a programmed panorama the gimbal will momentarily rotate to +20 and then back to +10 for the top row of images. I immediately use the gimbal wheel on the controller to rotate the gimbal back to +20 and it stays at that angle for the remainder of top row images.

It is not possible to override it unless you manually control the gimbal.
I remember back then the issue was especially with pano mode, where the pano would hang because it would expect the gimbal to go up to +20 but it would never be able to reach it. Following that, we reduced it the max to 15 for mini series to prevent hanging panos

Oh! I think I might have misunderstood. Are you saying that the DJI SDK can/will refuse/ignore camera tilt orders up when winds are strong?
In other words, the restriction/problem is on the SDK/Drone side? Not on the Litchi App?

If that is the case, those restrictions also apply to WP gimbal settings? (i.e. When defining the gimbal angle on the WP itself and not as an action)

There are several limits. Litchi has a +15 degree limit for the mini series to prevent any issues as after testing +20 degree would often cause issues.
Then the DJI firmware onboard the drone will have its own limit, which may vary depending on the drone angle etc
