Looking for any owners that can confirm a few things. if it is possible to switch lens on a per waypoint during a waypoint basis during a mission (it’s definitely not possible on their consumer line)? Secondly, does enterprise gear still have the option to continue if it loses signal? That would be so useful as sometimes it just happens and it’ll come back in range on the return path safely.

Enterprise drones have less restrictions than consumer drones.
With the onboard engine, if you set the zoom to say 7x, then the drone will switch to the zoom lens automatically, that was tested on M3T. With the Litchi engine, the camera must be switched to zoom lens before starting the flight for it to work (it’s something we could improve/fix though).
Enterprise drones can continue after signal loss (may depend on local regulations like consumer drones).
I did see the SDK having lens switching settings…But apparently the 4T only allows using its wide lens during autonomous flight (i.e. it ignores the lens set commands). While a poster on reddit claims the 4 pro does per waypoint lens switches if you just set the zoom past what a particular lens can do. I’m betting the EU-regislation horde does no longer allow ‘continue’ on signal loss for any drone but there are ways around it.
You would not happen to have a 4 pro to test? That would make it definitive:)
No Mavic 4 Pro or Matrice 4 on hand so I cannot comment on either, however I will say it is very doubtful that DJI would not let you use multi lens with the latest enterprise series. For enterprise drones in general I don’t think you set the lens specifically, rather you set the desired zoom level and the onboard engine switches to the correct lens to achieve that.
So I’ve asked DJI on clarification and they state that the Mavic 4 pro will select the right lens based on the zoom setting. I pressed to have them double check. That really takes the wind out of buying a 4E seeing I do not need RTK nor its expensive payloads. If I get a 4 pro (its still a lot of money) would you be interested to work on implementing this on Lichi HUB? I’d volunteer for testing of course.

Thank you for waiting, before start the waypoint task, different Waypoint settings you can set different zoom magnification, so as long as you set that, the relevant lens will work when arriving at each Waypoint1x to 2.5x: 28 mm 2.5x to 6x: 70mm 6x to 24x: 168mm

Some users said you had to select a single lens before the waypoint mission and it would only zoom digitally with that lens. But if I understand you, it’ll happily switch lens at each waypointDJI:
It is my pleasure to help with, it is not, because different zoom magnification has the different lens to work, so as long as you set the relevant zoom function, different lens will work at that time
Yes of course we can fix any issues, but actually if it does work like DJI seems to imply, then the Hub may already work as it is, as it already lets you set a zoom level at a waypoint.
I would also not always trust what DJI tells you until you can confirm, as this screenshot from a Mavic 4 Pro youtube video showing the global mission settings seems to imply you choose one camera for the entire flight like the other drone models that DJI Fly support (Air 3S, etc):
Exactly, I came across that screenshot too, adding to the confusion. I’m still looking around for someone with a mavic 4 pro that can test. Should be fairly easy to do so.
