Maintain altitude over a cliff in Hub

I am a little confused about programming altitude in a Hub mission. I’m planning a mission starting out at 1700 ft. At the end of the mission the flight goes over a sudden cliff drop of 1000 ft. How do I program it to maintain the same altitude going over the cliff? If I program “above ground” it seems like it would start to drop when it hits the cliff. When I put that first altitude into waypoint one, will it be read as above ground or above takeoff? How do I account for the 1700 ft starting altitude? I hope I’m not making the question as confusing as I am about it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

assuming that 1700 feet is above sea level, that will actually be 0 feet as far as the drone is concerned as they work on ATL, So when you CROSS the edge of the cliff if you’re flying at 100 feet ATL, you’ll need to do nothing as long as you don’t select AGL
