Loss of signal in flight for photogrammetry

Good evening friends, it turns out that I had an accident with my DJI Air 2S drone, in a flight plan for photogrammetry.
I share my flight plan with you so you can see what I did not do correctly.
Of course, it is a farm where there are trees, in the first flight and the only one that I was able to do, I did it from the highest part.
But I must confess that I made a fatal mistake, as soon as the drone gave me the alert I returned it to the starting point, from there I took it without turning it off and tried to take it off about 100 meters later, in a part with few trees, when I took it off a few meters high I could not control it, it went crazy and hit a tree.
Should I turn it off completely and start the session again? What should I do when the drone loses control, and does not react to what I try to do?
Thanks

Moving your drone from one location to another without turning it off is not a fatal mistake. Normally, I would not recommend it, but it should not cause your drone to crash.

I’m only guessing, but this sounds more like a “yaw error” caused by taking off from a metallic surface. Can you describe the area you took off from?

Turning the drone off is not always necessary.

If your drone loses control, it is usually too late to do anything about it. It is more important to understand why you lost control and modify your pre-flight procedure so that something like this does not happen again.

Assuming that you experienced a “yaw error”, it is always important to check the orientation of the drone icon on your screen to make sure it matches the actual drone orientation before take-off. If the orientations do not match, it means that the compass in your drone is being deflected (by nearby metal). The correct remedy is to power off the drone and move to a non-metallic area and try again.

Did you wait for it to update your “return to home point” before take off?.
