Lithchi with DJI mini 4K

Any hope of DJI mini 4k working with Litchi follow me , track me etc.?

In a word NO .the reason being that dji haven’t added it to an SDK, so it can’t be flown with any 3rd party software

Hi,
have a Mini 4k and I bought and installed Litchi today.
From what I understand here is that I cannot do anything with litchi and my drone until DJI adds it to an SDK; right?
Just would like to know what an SDK is and how this works?
Can you pl explain that in a way that guy born in 1961 who was using DJI fly uo to now can understand it?

SDK is a Software Development Kit.

Its a set of commands that allow 3rd party developers (like Litchi, DroneDeploy, etc) to create apps that can control a drone.

Without a SDK noone can write apps or programs to communicate with DJI drones.

Thanks Sam, understood. Seems I will have to wait until DJI releases that and you guys from litchi will alsoneed some time to implement your cool stuff.
Will I be notified when I can fly my drone with litchi?

I think you’ll have an eternal wait for them to add the 4k an SDK, the last mini they added was the 3 series

There is no news. The Mini 4K is a Mini 2SE with a different camera. DJI is not supporting the Mini 2SE or the Mini 4K with the MSDK. There is nothing anyone else can do about it.
