I have a new DJI Air2S with flyaway combo and the upgraded RC (RM330) and use latest iPhone. I have been unable to get the app on my phone to connect with the RC. I have the latest software, cable is good, and have followed various instructions. I feel scammed.
Which app are you trying to use? The original Litchi app? Or Litchi Pilot?
The Pilot doesn’t support the Air 2S.

You can not connect a smart device to the DJI RC and access the apps installed on it.
You need the DJI RC-N1 to do so.
Well it would have been good for that to be clear before I paid for the app. ;<
Did you not read the FAQ’s, or do any other research into how dumb dji have made their so called smart controllers

The other thing I can’t seem to get the DJI RC to do is any waypoint work, no squiggle on the screen
The DJI Air 2S does not have native waypoint support. That is why the DJI Fly app does not show the waypoint icon.
