You can then either “Play” your mission or use the slider to go to a specific location of your flight.
The Google Earth view where the various portions of the flight were colored according to the flight mode was created using this utility using the “min dist” option:
It’s true that I intervened in the landing process. When the drone flew to the starting point after the mission but didn’t land, I tried to change course with the joysticks. That didn’t work because the drone kept flying toward the ground. So I think I switched to sport mode and then back again. Then I pressed RTH on the controller.
The whole process was very annoying and I don’t remember exactly how long it took. However, the trigger was the failure to land immediately after the mission.
I then made a few changes, e.g., to the flight field dimensions and overlaps. That’s why there’s a difference between the draft in Litchi Pilot and Airdata.com.
The flight log shows at 3m 20s, as soon as the drone switched to “Auto Landing” over the home point, you pushed the right stick forward which caused the drone to continue at its current heading to the southwest past the home point.
The drone continued to “Auto Land” (descend) as you continued to push the right stick forward which kept the drone traveling in the southwest direction.
This is because the drone was in “Auto Landing” mode.
Actually, the log shows that you momentarily switched to “Tripod” mode at 5m 24s. Then after only about 10s, you enabled “Go Home” at which time the drone ascended up to its RTH altitude and flew back to the home point.
It was landing but the log shows that you pushed the right stick forward which caused the drone to continue in the southwest direction as it was landing.
If you have any doubts about this, study the replay of your log file here noting the location of the drone, the flight mode, and the stick positions shown on the right:
My foolish attempts took place after the drone failed to land at the starting point and continued flying.
When I saw in the controller that the ground was getting closer and closer, I was afraid I would lose the drone. But with the final RTH, it came back.
I would like to thank the Litchi team for their many explanations and, above all, for the great program. I have been using it since at least 2018.
Hurray—today’s flight went as planned. Same location, same altitude, just a little shorter. The drone landed at the starting point.
When reviewing the images, there was a new MP4 file. Litchi recorded a video from the starting point to the start of the mission. Is this planned, or did I turn something on?
This happened to me on a regular waypoint flight with my mini 3 pro after having some missions that were worrisome. . Decide to not risk use Litchi again
Perhaps you did not read the entire thread. If you would like to understand why your mission didn’t behave as expected, start your own thread, describe what happened, and include a link to your mission. We will be happy to analyze it for you.
