I loaded litchi on my smart controller and it worked fine for a mission yesterday. Now today, I tried to access a mission from the list and it states it is only available for newer drones and I can’t get it to load on my iphone or my smart controller now. What is going on? I use it all the time and have a new DJI controller pro 2 coming just so I can use it with my mini pro 4 with Litchi on the pro controller. What is happening???
Is this error referring to the app or a mission? It is not clear what what you have written.
There are two Litchi apps. The original “Litchi” app is for older DJI drones such as the Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom or the Air 2s. It can be installed on the DJI Smart Controller (RM500) that you mentioned in your post.
There is also the “Litchi Pilot” app which is for newer DJI drones such as the DJI Mini3 or DJI Mini 4. If you are going to install an app on your DJI RC Pro 2 controller in order to fly the Mini 4 Pro, you would need to install the “Litchi Pilot” app, not the original “Litchi” app.
If this does not answer your question, please provide more details on exactly what device you are using and which app you have installed.
If I go to the APP store for my iPhone it only shows one APP for Litchi. Is that the original? If I go to the google play store I also see only one APP is that the Litchi Pilot or the original? I loaded the one from the play store on my older smart controller and it worked fine for my Air 2S on Friday. Does that mean it was using the original or the Beta Pilot one? I thought I planned the flight with the Beta one from the website and it is really great. If it is not to be used the the Air 2s how come it worked on my DJI Smart Controller?
Is there a way to tell if the app is beta or original just by looking at the app in IOS or Play store. In others words is the beta always referred to as Litchi Pilot?
In the iOS App Store you will only fine the older, original Litchi app. The newer “Litchi Pilot” app is in beta and is often referred to as the “beta app”.
I have moved your latest question into your previous thread because it was a continuation of the discussion.
