Litchi Hub - Direct KMZ file import?

Hi,
I am using the new Beta Virtual Litchi Hub app on the PC. In the Flights “import” tab it imports my converted Air 3S CSV perfectly.
I have however tried importing the KMZ file directly from the RS 2 controller and the message pops up: “Coming Soon”. Does that mean that direct KMZ file import is being developed do you know?
Thanks.

KML/KMZ import isn’t currently supported in the new Hub.
Could you tell us a bit more about what you want to use this feature for? Your feedback helps us understand its importance and prioritize it accordingly.

Sure. After flying the drone around, creating a waypoint mission on the RC 2 controller, I want to preview the flight back at the office on the PC (in Google Earth), editing the waypoints where necessary, fine tuning headings and gimbal angles.
Currently we have to convert each DJI KMZ file to a CSV file, rename the downloaded CSV file, and then import that CSV file into Litchi Hub. It would be nice to be able to eliminate the KMZ > CSV conversion necessity, if importing a KMZ file directly into Litchi Hub could ever be an option.
Thanks for all your hard work.

You posted the same question in the Mavic Pilots forum which I have answered. For those who have not seen my response there, it says:

DJI’s use of the KMZ file extension for their waypoint WPML data was unfortunate. It has created a lot of confusion. The KMZ file import that will be supported in the new Litchi Mission Hub is a Google Earth KMZ file, not a DJI KMZ file (they are different). My guess is that the import of a DJI KMZ file will never be supported in Litchi’s Mission Hub. However, my “DJI to Litchi Converter” will always support DJI KMZ files.

Ideally we’d like to add support for it, but it’s not a priority as it seems mostly only useful for drones which are not supported in the SDK/Litchi Pilot.

Thank you for the information. Would it be too much ask if, you post a link, please?

Welcome to the forum.

It is not clear what link you are asking to be posted. If it is to the “KMZ to Litchi” converter, it is:
