Litchi Hub - 1st Impressions

Having used the Litchi Mission Hub for creating missions for my DJI P3 Pro in the past, and not having flown the drone for several years, I found and tried the Open Beta Litchi Hub tonight.

  1. Very nice! and a good start to improving the old Mission Hub web app.+
  2. Nice to be able to define drone make & model
  3. Very nice mission file management!
  4. It took a while to kick it around before understanding how to create a new mission but I succeeded in doing a simple one in a fairly short time.
  5. Seems to be a lot of missing definable waypoint parameters or there are new ways of doing things that are not yet evident.

Keep up the good work!

I too have been away from flying my drones for some time. So far, everything looks very functional and intuitive.

My favorite part is the integration of Google Maps to allow me to get a real perspective of how my drone will fly and actually see in advance that not only my drone is on its programed course, but being able to get a real almost firsthand view of where my camera is pointed.

For my 2 day test with 3 flights each using my DJI Mavic Air 2 went great!

I do not understand why with my Mavic Air 2 that programing the Spiral or Orbit is not possible. Can I assume that if I program a Spiral or Orbit on my own that it will work as programed?

Thanks,

Chuck B.

Yes, it will work. You can also use this Spiral Mission utility to create a spiral mission. It will output a CSV file which you import into Litchi.
