LITCH PILOT BETA BUG REPORT

Background:
Loaded Litchi Pilot Beta (latest version) onto Lenovo M10+ gen 3 tablet alongside DJI GO4 and DJI FLY which have been installed for over three years - both of which work flawlessly. DJI Mini 3 Pro and DJI Mavic 2 Zoom drones also working flawlessly.

Reason for installing Litchi Pilot:
Require a well engineered waypoints flight app for DJI Mini 3 Pro. Litchi Pilot features terrain following which is essential for accurate orthomosaics.

Circumstances:
Deployed DJI Mini 3 Pro drone to capture a nadir orthomosaic. Booted drone and controller. Tablet auto-launched flight app - offered me a choice between DJI FLY or LITCHI PILOT. Selected DJI FLY for a simple, quick manual panoramic. DJI FLY loaded, drone connected.
Live FPV screen and telemetry: normal.
Take off and flight to correct altitude and start location: normal.
Fn (function) button gimbal operation (flip to nadir orientation and back): normal.
Twist operation (from landscape orientation to portrait orientation): not normal.
Tapping the on-screen camera orientation ‘button’ once: the camera did physically flip to portrait orientation - but the FPV view on-screen did NOT flip relative to the camera orientation causing great confusion concerning the stick operation (all normal stick inputs reversed).
Camera refused to return to landscape orientation - screen tap ‘button’ did not recognise physical input even though digital zoom ‘button’ (directly beneath) did work normally.

Troubleshooting the cause:
After landing the drone, the DJI Mini 3 Pro was left on and connected to the controller. The default control app still being DJI FLY. The landscape/portrait ‘button’ was tested numerous times with the camera in different gimbal positions. It still failed to engage.
Powered down the drone and the controller. Closed the DJI FLY app. Went to the system settings on the tablet. Force-stopped Litchi Pilot Beta and then uninstalled it. Re-booted drone and controller which connected automatically to DJI FLY. Camera orientation and screen view orientation relative to landscape/portrait camera flip now back to normal - working as programmed and consistently.
