Ok, admit I am new to this and need some help here. I cannot find any way to install the Litchi app on my smart controller since it is no longer available from Google or Amazon. I can use my PC to download the app from my account to my computer, but don’t see how to get it from there to the controller. I can access the Litchi website and my account page on the controller with the Lightening Browser, but it never stops spinning to let me enter my login information and get to the download page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Connect the Smart Controller to the PC via the usb c port at the bottom. Then transfer the APK to the smart controller’s built in storage. On the smart controller open the file browser and double tap on the APK to install it.
Outstanding………..worked first try. Really appreciate your assistance. Now just gotta get everything charged and learn how to make it work…………..used Litchi on iPhone a couple of years ago, so hopefully it won’t be a huge learning curve. Blue Skies!

Eu comprei o litchi usei em android comprei um um rc smart controller rm 500 tenho que pagar a licença do apk, para baixar e instalar no controle ?
As best I can tell from the searches I have done, yes………..unless maybe you have the APK installer on your computer where you can transfer it to the Smart Controller. That is what I had to do since I could not move the file from my iPhone to the Smart Controller and the original purchase is no longer available on any of the app stores. You can purchase download the installer directly from the Litchi website for a nominal fee.
where to get the apk , request from litchi?
When logged in to the main Litchi web site, select your name (upper-right corner) then select “Account”. In the following page, select the “APKs” tab. There you may purchase the APK.

hi, i double tapped but it did not install, does it matter exactly where you transfer the file to ?
Just connect your controller to your computer, transfer the APK installer file to your Smart Controller main storage (not the SD card), then on the home screen of the smart controller select the four button icon on the bottom right of the display, at the next screen open the File Manager, and then double click/tap on the Litchi APK installer file and it should run just fine.
Well I have the file installed on RC Pro tapped the file to install it starts but then says not installed.
Ok, I cannot speak to the RC Pro……..sorry but do not have one of those. I install Litchi on the DJI Smart Controller, the original version and did not have problems with it. Perhaps the folks from DJI and Litchi can be of better assistance on issues with the RC Pro controller. Hope it can work out for you, really enjoying being able to do waypoints and maps with my older Mavic Air 2.
What’s the EXACT filename of the file you are trying to install?
Litchi_5.0.0-1_30005013.apk
That’s the correct file.
Something is interfering with the installation, most likely (residu’s of) another Litchi installation and/or Google play services.
If so, uninstall/remove them.
So I should uninstall Litchi
