hyperlapse at waypoint

would it be possible to add this as a waypoint option, lets say i want to fly to a set point on daily basis and take a hyperlapse, currently the only option is to set it to hover for a set period, or an option to finish at waypoint maybe could work then i can initiate the HL manually

In the Mission Settings, you could set the Finish Action to “None” or Hover. Then initiate your Hyperlapse manually.

A hyperlapse implies motion. However, what you describe doesn’t seem to which would make it a timelapse. If it is a hyperlapse that you want, you might want to consider making a waypoint mission and then converting it to a hyperlapse mission using my converter:

I have been trying to figure-out exactly the same thing for about a week now - fly to a specific point, stop, and then take a Hyperlapse with possible RTH after. Despite what another poster said below, it would actually be a Hyperlapse as the speed would be set to virtually zero with the a/c basically hovering several hundred feet above a point and taking a Hyperlapse of the activity below. The best solution I’ve found is setting a waypoint to get there and position the drone/gimbal, then cancelling the waypoint mission and doing everything manually from there. Someone suggested LitchiHub, but I haven’t found out yet if it can do a Hyperlapse after positioning, so I’m still looking…

You can perform those activities in the order you described, then press the Home button after your hyperlapse is finished.

It’s clear to me - I don’t need any further explanation from Matthew Vandeputte, thanks all the same :slightly_smiling_face:

In Litchi? I haven’t come across anything like that…yet! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks.

Using your words:

In the Hub, you can create a mission with the position, heading and gimbal position
Keep in mind, that a mission needs at least 2 waypoints. An intermediate point between your home point and final position should suffice.

Well yes, I can already do that with a waypoint - the first simply to have a first, and the second, a few metres later, to act as the final waypoint which will set the heading, gimbal angle etc.

I thought you meant that it was possible to do all of this and start the Hyperlapse from within Litchi.

Sorry if I misunderstood.
