How do I select the flight engine (Litchi or on-board waypoint engine)? I don’t see any selection method in Litchi Hub 2.0.
Also, why would one engine be preferable to the other? What is the difference in behavior?
In Mission Settings after choosing the Drone Type you can choose the Flight Engine, but ONLY for drones that support it.

DJI Engine:
The entire waypoint mission is uploaded to the drone at the time the waypoint mission is selected. The drone is able to smoothly execute the mission regardless of the signal strength between the controller and the drone. The drone would be able to continue the mission even if the signal to the remote controller is lost.
Litchi Engine:
The entire waypoint mission is kept in the controlling device (phone or tablet). To execute the mission, the controller requires a constant connection to the drone. There may be lags in commands sent to the drone due to poor signal strength between the drone and controller causing a less than smooth flight path. If the signal between the drone and controller is lost, the drone cannot continue the mission and will return to home.
