Ran my first mission today with Mini 3 Pro using Litchi.

Two things I need to figure out:

  1. How do I instruct the drone to turn the camera “down”? Is there a way to include that in the mission planner or do you have to manually change that at mission start?

  2. Is there a way to get the drone to fly to each waypoint “straight” ahead? I noticed that the drone “faced” the same direction the entire time was basically flying sideways or backward almost the entire time. I think this greatly drained my battery and reduced flight time.

If there’s a good staters guide and/or video tutorials that cover topics like this I’d appreciate that info.

Mission SettingsHeading Mode: Defines the heading of the aircraft during the mission. Choose between “Toward next Waypoint” (“Auto” on iOS) where the aircraft will point toward the next waypoint

Thank you. What about the gimbal position, i.e. straight down?

If you read all the Waypoint Actions, the last one is:

Tilt Camera: The gimbal will move to the specified angle (tilt). The valid value range is +0° to -90° (look down).
