Giving your batteries a workout in waypoint mode

I want to fly a rectangle over and over in a big field next to me to see how long the batteries will actually last. I’ve tried overlapping 10kms worth of waypoints but litchi always crashes. Is there any way to put waypoint mode into auto repeat ?

I don’t want to orbit until the batteries are done.

No there is not.
What you could do is:

  1. Program 1 rectangle, set Finish Action to Return to waypoint 1 and start the mission again and again and …
    or
  2. While flying an orbit in ORBIT-mode the drone will continue to fly until either you stop the orbit or the battery gets depleted, in which case the Low Battery Failsave kicks in (RTH, Hover or Land).
