"Flight Planning and Signal Loss."

Good afternoon, dear friends,

I’m sharing four flight missions for photography with you all, hoping that if you have any useful advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I’m trying to start from the highest point, as I believe this might help me achieve a successful flight. On the other hand, I did a short flight today, but on a couple of occasions, I lost signal. What should I do to protect the drone and prevent this issue from escalating?

I sincerely appreciate any help you can provide.

Best regards.

What drone are you flying?

In my opinion, the further you fly, the higher you fly - the signal is distorted by uneven terrain.

In the case of a large area, take off as close as possible to the center of the geometric figure describing the flight area.

Best regards

Good evening, dear friend, thanks for the recommendation.
My drone is an Air 2s.
Best regards.

Unfortunately, Air 2S belongs to the DJI drones family runing missions with the “Virtual stick” mode which supposes a constant link between the RC and the AC. If this link is broken, the mission is inevitably interrupted as it would be if you piloted the drone yourself. So the choice left is RTH, hover or land. No way to continue the mission as it was possible with the old Mavic drones or even the Phantom class who were really autonomous, with the mission embarked in their internal memory.
For pilots like me who use Litchi missions in pountainous or difficult terrains, this represents a danger since you are never sure that the RTH is possible, without any unsurmontable obstacle between the drone and the home point on the direct route.
[P.S. I cant’t see your missions. Didn(t you forget to make them public ?]
