According to Litchi’s Web-page the Mini 3 is NOT compatible with the regular Litchi app.
The Litchi Pilot app is compatible with the Mini 3, however Litchi Pilot is only available for Android.
Obviously the regular Litchi app because Litchi Pilot is NOT available for iOS.
