Does LITCHI work on iPad mini 6 and connect to RC GL300C from Phantom 4 Advanced?

I have a question because I want to invest in LITCHI.

I bought an DJI Phantom 4 Advanced.
I bought an iPad mini 6 with iPadOS 16.
It turned out that DJI does not support iPadOS 16 with USB-C and DJI GO 4 does not connect to the RC.

DJI has a deep Apple USB-C, and on the DJI FORUM they only write that they are working on it. They’ve been working on it since 2021.

It’s now 2023.

I have:

  • iPad Mini 6 with iPadOS 16.5
  • Remote Controller GL300C ver. B - latest firmware
  • DJI Phantom 4 Advanced - latest firmware

I am looking for a solution.

Does LITCHI currently connect RC GL300C to iPad mini 6 with iPadOS 16.5?

Is it working?

Is there a vision?

Thank you for answer.

Regards.

The Phantom series are all 100% compatible with Litchi and will work as advertised, regardless of the specific controller used. Happy flying!

Apparently there’s a problem with iOS v16.5 in combination with Apple devices with USB-C.
It effects both Litchi & DJI GO4.

It has nothing to do with Litchi and/or Firmware.

The iOS 16.5 update was released on May 18, 2023

Hi Yordie,

Thank you very much for your thoughts

Personally, I have no problems in Apple devices with iOS16 and iPadOS16 except for DJI GO4 / RC / Phantom 4 Advanced.

It remains to wait for iPadOS 17 and then we’ll see.

Litichi installed on iPad mini 6 with USB-C does not connect to Phantom 4 Advance. So it doesn’t work.
