What is the ETA for Litchi to support the Mini 5 pro?
I’ve been using the paid version for the Mavic but now DJI 24h ago released the API I can’t wait to use it also for the Mini 5 pro.

I’m curious where you saw that DJI has released an SDK for the Mini 5 Pro. Would you share the URL with this information?
Nothing on the DJI developer website as of 05/22/2026.
Yes - it was in the “Search Assist” of Duckduckgo yesterday it says May 22 2026 DJI released the API for the Mini 5 Pro.
But now I wanted to make a screenshot, it’ says it’s not!
Guess this is one of the examples where trusting AI is a bad idea
Trusting AI is never a good idea.
yes, you’re right. I guess my emotion of happiness they finally released it overtook my rationality
where you looking clearly states no
Im sure dji will not reales any more for consumer drones even air 3 not done .
speculative though.
The air 3 was released in July 2023
The Mini 4 pro released in September 2023
The air 3 no API
the Mini 4 Pro has API released
So “time” doesn’t conclude anything.
DJI did release the API for Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro - based on that chronology I have no reasons to back up any claims that they wouldn’t release API for the Mini 5 Pro
In fact - GitHub - dji-sdk/Mobile-SDK-Android-V5: MSDK V5 Sample · GitHub - none of the Air are supported here.
So I find it a stretch - because DJI doesn’t support any DJI Air in their SDK V5, while it does support all Mini pro thus far, that therefore they won’t do so in future.
When you look at the time between release to the market and when supported by the V5 SDK, then one can expect the Mini 5 Pro API to be released in 2027, if DJI would use the same timeline as for the Mini 3 and Mini 4 pro
i wonder why no air 3 and air 3 s makes no sense .
I 100% agree - I think by allowing API for all their drones they could even sell more, but I guess I’m wrong and their marketing for sure knows better than we do.
